I did not check whether the two sentences above coincide with your original complex sentence, but yes this is what I suggested. Now you have individual sentences to which a human reader could easily say "yes, this is correct, no, this is not correct", instead of a complex sentence that nobody understands. 

The downside is that you may end up with a lot of very similar sentences – which again has the advantage of being easily modifiable if circumstances change.
