[Attempto] (no subject)

Hello,
   When I enter a sentence like "Mumbai is a city." and then "It is very
big." in APE parser it gives an error because it doesnot recognize the
pronoun 'it'.
 I guess this is happening because it is not saving 'Mumbai' the first time
i entered it.so how do i go abt saving words and adding it to the database?
Please help.
