Why are you checking the "reload" box when you are using a user-defined lexicon, but do not change it? 

The help text says

> The "Reload the lexicon" checkbox informs APE that the user lexicon has changed and needs to be reloaded from the provided web address. If unchecked, APE uses the previously saved copy.
