In the past I had joined the list but perhaps with a different email address. I let the membership lapse. I am not a programmer but a writer and as such have need for a usable programming language. I have until now found no language with any real utility for a non-programmer. I have tasks closely related to the work I do, which I need to automate. Let me explain my tasks. As I writer researching and writing in both English and German I have built a framework to support my work in two languages and even allow me to translate texts I write in English into German. It works well, but I wish to automate certain of its time-consuming tasks. One of the products I have looked at to help automate some of the tasks is one called "AutoHotKey". For a variety of reasons I am turning my back on such products and will look for an ability to use a language that uses natural language or controlled English, to create a form of pseudocode which can be translated into a language such as Prolog. Is the language Attempto far enough down the development path to be used in such a context? Are there working projects doing such from which I might gather experiences of others? What would other members of the list community recommend to me?
