The ACE Editor (http://attempto.ifi.uzh.ch/aceeditor/) and its 
predictive grammar only support a subset of ACE. Prepositional phrases, 
for example, are only supported if they come after the verb.

In full ACE (not in the ACE Editor), I would start from something like this:

"For every sprinkler the distance of the sprinkler's n:deflector and the 
ceiling must be greater than 25.4 mm and must be smaller than 305 mm."
